Rich & Lois Jarvi
Rich and Lois Jarvi grew up and went to college in Michigan, after which they each entered the job market and volunteered with The Navigators in Michigan and California. They got married in 1981 and were staff-in-training for the next three years at the University of Tennessee. They spent the next eight years at The University of Memphis then five years at The Ohio State University before coming to Miami in 1998. Rich and Lois have served as campus directors, regional leaders, staff trainers, and now as the Great Lakes Trainer Coaches. They enjoy refinishing furniture, camping, and spending time with family - especially taking care of their two grandchildren! Rich still likes to play intramural hockey and loves Great Lakes freighters. Lois loves lighthouses! They are both involved on campus leading Bible studies, meeting with students, and serving wherever they can.
